Gran Canaria or Narendra Modi Stadium?: the yellow tide of UD Las Palmas in India

The yellow tide accompanied by UD Las Palmas in promotion to the First Division from LaLiga Smartbank jumped India as one of its own on the last day of its cricket season at the Narendra Modi or Ahmedabad Stadium, a cricket stadium located in Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Sports Complex, Ahmedabad, India. That means: the biggest stadium in the world and has a capacity of 132,000 spectators. That means: on that day in India for that game there were 100,000 more spectators than at the Gran Canaria Stadium.

The Asian yellow fans associate the image of Canarian football with the Indian Premier League. Yellow is also the color of UD Las Palmas, as worn by Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
