Fernando Alonsoafter finishing in second position in Free Practice 2 of the Spanish F1 GP, is happy with the initial performance shown by the new components introduced by Aston Martin in Barcelona after the first day of practice for the Catalan event and made it clear that the fight for the first places in qualifying this Saturday (4:00 pm/DAZN F1) will be tight.
“Everything is so close in a lap that a couple of tenths can put you in a different position”Alonso said yesterday, happy with the performance of the improvements introduced by Aston Martin: “The updates help the performance and we’re happy, but we’ll see where we’re at very soon when everything gets going”commented Oviedo.
