President of Getafe Angel Torreshas announced this Tuesday that it hopes to start the Remodeling works of Coliseum Alfonso Pérez in March or April 2024when the licenses are approved by the city council of the southern city of Madrid.
The supreme president of azulón, during the presentation of official shirts of his team for next season, outlined the steps the club will take to begin a comprehensive renovation of its stadium.
“In September or October they will present the project at the town hall and in March or April, it will start in the north fund. You have to endure the discomfort because this is where it will play out. The stadium is more closed so that the public can drive closer to the footballers”, is indicated.
Torres confirmed that he wanted to plug the drain that surrounds the playing field, that capacity will expand to 3,000 locationsthat all spectators will be indoors (currently only one wing has it) and the stadium will have 69 boxes for personalities.
“Next month we will finish the offices. In September the works will start on Sports City with a stadium for 2,000 seats. And the terms they are giving us to reform the Coliseum are 27 months. I’m in top form. My goal is to build the course, close it, finish it, rename it and have someone else do it better”, said the manager.
