“If this month goes well, we close the classification, but for this I have to continue in this line of work. “It knows so little because we’re looking for more, but this is what makes the sport great. If it was all over and it was easy, I don’t know how I would have handled it. There are many people who are at the same level and every day that is what makes us grow,” he confessed.

“I consider myself very lucky to have such a brutal environment to commit myself to it. It’s an environment that makes everything easier because you have to learn how to take control of your mental health. No one will put more pressure on you than you have on yourself because you want to win the most. The control that gives me a lot of peace of mind and, in my case, if I can give a hundred and I give a hundred, I can be calm,” said Cerezo, hoping to “live the experience” of Games without covid.

“It’s going to be brutal. In Paris, I will be with my family and close people. I really want to live a different experience in Paris compared to Tokyo”, declared Cerezo, who participated in ‘The Olympic relay. Paris Road’, held at the Spanish Olympic Committee.

“A lot of things change when you get into a high level. You develop abilities and qualities that you can’t imagine. I appreciate it, I appreciate it a lot and I am grateful that I can devote myself to training and have it all. I was at the Sant Cugat High Performance Center and for me it was unimaginable,” he said.

“Now my goal is to go to Paris 2024. I’m not classified yet but we are on the right track and if I do it would be brutal because I want to experience the experience,” he declared.

“The focus is on the Games, but I’m not too obsessed. I am preparing for this event, which is the most important thing, and then I will think of another. I go game by game knowing that the goal is there,” said Furia, whose life took a radical turn with the support of the institutions to prepare the qualification for Paris.

“It’s a huge change. I started dancing at the exit of a Barcelona subway and having a way to focus on it fills my heart. I’m grateful because for me it’s a change in my life on all levels” comments he.

Ana Furia said that she has no pressure because of the qualification process for the Paris Olympics that she is going through and all the sacrifices that come with it.

“I don’t experience it as a pressure but as something beautiful. Breaking, apart from being a sport, has an artistic side and it’s good to share. People will accept it well because it has two aspects. We practice for hours and then there is the artistic part with the music and the creative moment. This sport is just taking its place where it belongs,” he concluded.
