On the other side of the table, the American Frances Tiafoe, the twelfth player in the world, who won this year in Houston, was fulfilled, eliminating the Italian Musetti, sixth, in a balanced match that was resolved in the third set (6-7() 8), 7-6(4) and 6-2).
The American player is seeking his first final on grass. In the semifinals, he will face Hungarian Marton Fucsovics, who defeated North American Taylor Fritz in two sets 6-4 and 7-5.
