• New route with 7 complete stages in Morocco.
• A new regulation that recognizes and highlights the figure of the finisher driver, giving him a highly relevant status in the rally field, and defining him as a truly complete competitor.
• Regarding navigation, the roadbook symbol, WP and hazards will be FIM like any other event of the World Championship and the Dakar Rally.
• One of the most notable novelties is the inclusion of timed sectors of high navigation complexity, which will put navigators’ skills to the test and allow them to shine against fast drivers .
• A challenging 2-day unassisted Marathon Stage will test the endurance of drivers and machines.
• The 5th stage, called “the 13 peaks”, in Erg Chebbi will be a legendary stage with a Le Mans-style starting line: the sand riders have to run in search of their motorcycle to start the special.
• There will be 5 different categories to enter, allowing riders to choose the one that best suits their riding ability, motorcycle type and navigation experience. The Trail will also have an exclusive route for them where they can enjoy 7 incredible days on a motorcycle through Morocco.
