Real Betis officially on Monday renewed Chilean goalkeeper Claudio Bravo for another season, until June 2024. Bravo, who turned 40 on April 13, will play in his fourth season as a player of Real Betis, where he arrived by the hand of Manuel Pellegrini in the summer of 2020 from Manchester City, with a letter of independence.
After Joaquín’s retirement, Bravo will become Betis’ oldest player and one of the oldest in LaLiga, after Diego López (Rayo) and Pepe Reina (Villarreal).
In this season that just ended, Claudio Bravo played a total of 21 games (1,950′) in which he scored 22 goals, kept a clean sheet six times and saw four yellow cards.
The note from Real Betis reads: “Claudio Bravo will continue to be linked with Real Betis Balompié during the 2023/2024 season. The Chilean goalkeeper will continue to defend the Betic goal next season.
