Formula 1 has announced that the ten teams participating in the championship already have three-star environmental accreditation from the International Automobile Federation (FIA).thus becoming the first motor sport where all its members achieve the highest level of sustainability that this organization seeks.
The program for awarding this recognition began in 2011 and with it up to 17 variables are measured from transport planning to noise management through carbon emissions. An independent auditor is in charge of assessing compliance at various points.
