He Higher Sports Council (CSD)he Spanish Olympic Committee (COE) and Spanish Radio Television (RTVE) signed this Tuesday the cooperation agreement that will allow in 2023 and 2024 the development of ADO programin support of the Spanish Olympic athletes who will compete in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
This was reported by the Council itself, stating that the agreement was signed by the three founding members of the Olympic Sports Association (ADO) at the CSD headquarters: Víctor Francos Díaz, Secretary of State for Sports and president of the CSD; Alejandro Blanco, president of COE; and Elena Sánchez Caballero, interim president of RTVE.
“With the signature of the three founding partners, the ADO Plan will charge renewable energybased on the pillars of digitization, social responsibility, professionalization and new technologies,” CSD said in a press release.
“The signing of this agreement fulfills the commitment of the Government of Spain to stimulate the ADO, along with the other two founding partners of this program. We share the illusion that Spanish Olympic sport will achieve the best results in its history at the Paris 2024 Games and, through this agreement, with the support of the business sector and society, we guarantee the proper preparation of our athletes ” , said Víctor Francos.
For his part, Alexander Whitesaid that “after the hiatus imposed by the consequences of the covid-19 pandemic, the celebration of the Tokyo Olympic Games will begin one year later, with the accompanying efforts of sponsors who have contributed financially for five year, instead of the usual four years. now we have re-signed for Paris 2024 in what will be ADO’s return to normalitya program that has given so much success to Spanish Olympic sport”.
“On behalf of RTVE, I am pleased to sign a new cooperation agreement with the Olympic Sports Association (ADO) to continue promoting the highly competitive sport to other partners. Our mission at RTVE is more than simply delivering sporting events. We seek to contribute to the promotion and development of top sports competition in Spain, with special attention to the Olympic Games. We are committed to contributing to the development of these disciplines and to the preparation of our athletes who will participate in international sporting events”, said the interim president of RTVE, Elena Sánchez Caballero.
The CSD added that “the commitment obtained by the three parties at the beginning of the year to revitalize the ADO program will be translated into a strategic line adapted to the new sponsorship trends and with a more active role of athletes and coaches who will benefit from this program until the Paris 2024 Olympic Games”.
“Over the next thirteen months, the ADO Plan will offer companies greater visibility and greater revenue based on their core asset: the values of the sport and its key personnel,” he added.
The agreement “includes RTVE’s commitment to design and disseminate communication campaigns in favor of the ADO Program and its sponsors, as well as a financial contribution to fulfill its goals and programs.”
