Ogier, the king’s victory over Toyota’s ‘poker’ champion in the Safari Rally

Rovanpera started by attacking and winning the first special of the day, but Ogier immediately reacted by winning the next, from then on both watched each other, giving way to marginal victories for in Tanak, Rovanpera, Katsuka and Neuville.

Rovanpera remains at the top of the general classification with 139 points, followed by Neuville with 102 and Evans in third position with 98. Dani Sordo is in the seventh provisional position with 48 points.
