Siniakova won the fourth WTA title of her career

After a final rain delay, stopping for more than three hours, the Czech Katerina Sinyakova finally achieved the Bad Homburg WTA tournament title after defeating the Italian Lucia Bronzetti of 6-2 and 7-6(5).

Although the duration of the bout was set at 98 minutes, the outcome of the title lasted nearly six hours. Siniakovawho was an unsuccessful finalist of this event in 2018, finally managed to lift the trophy after showing himself to be more than the transalpine only facing the champion in the second set.

bronzetti, without any title and the final in Palermo as the only relevant experience, improved after the delay of the match, due to rain, when the score was 6-2 and 2-1 for the Czech. However, success did not escape him. Siniakova who is playing in the eighth final of his career and goes with the victory in Bad Homburg in Portoroz in 2022 and in Shenzhen and Bastad, in 2017.
