The transfer market officially opened on Saturday, July 1. Clubs have two months, until September 1, to set up their squads but some operations have already been closed which will be one of the most expensive at the end of summer.
As has been the case in previous years, the Premier League leads the investment chapter in transfers with 611 million euros already spent by its clubs. However, Real Madrid made the highest acquisition with 103 ‘kilos’ paid to include Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund.
For now, however, the club that spent the most on transfers was Tottenham with 136 million euros in James Madison (46) and the Italian goalkeeperor Guglielmo Vicario (20) includes options to purchase Pedro Porro (40) and Dejan Kulusevsky (30).
He is followed by Liverpool with 112 million euros paid by Dominik Szoboszlai (70) and Alexis MacAllister(42). Third is the Real Madrid with 108 million disbursed by Bellingham (103) and Fran Garcia (5).
