Official: Jack Miller completes the 2025 MotoGP grid

It’s been an open secret and now it’s official. Jack Miller will be a pilot Yamaha next season. Australian driver racing in Pramac Racing, which in 2025 will cease to be a satellite team of Ducati and become a satellite team of Yamaha. The Australian’s announcement left the grid complete.

He the contract is only for the 2025 season, so the 29-year-old rider will be under pressure from a good start to continue in MotoGP. In fact, his performance at KTM did not meet expectations and the weight of his nationality, in the desire of the championship to expand its brand across the planet, played an important role to continue in the top category.


It’s not Miller’s first time racing in the Italian structure and he was a Pramac rider from 2018 to 2020, before jumping to the official Ducati team. In fact, with this transition, the Australian has already passed four out of five factories which forms the grill. It debuted on Honda in 2015 and years later it made its way to Ducati and KTM.

Miller was the last to make his debut, jumping straight from Moto3, where he was runner-up in 2014, and took his first MotoGP victory at the thrilling Assen race in 2016. Since then he has added three more wins and 23 podiums. He has also achieved two pole positions.
