Hulk loses the papers and explodes

Date:

Hulk (36) was angry this Sunday after the Belo Horizonte derby between his team, the Atlético Mineiroand the America Mineiro (2-2). The striker scored a goal but ended up being sent off after confronting referee Wilson Sampaio, after the match. He accused him of celebrating America’s tie and, later, said he got the red (second yellow) for slapping him in the face.

In front of the television cameras, still on the pitch, Hulk angrily protested the decision, which he later explained, in the mixed zone of the Mineirao Stadium, to the journalists present: “Call him (the referee), because he faced me and Celebrated. I don’t know why, but he shouted in my face. He called his refereeing team and celebrated, in front of me! What did he have to celebrate? The cameraman ‘caught’ everything, I think. It’s good to be filming From the beginning to the end”, he declared furious at his dismissal.

And he continues: “After throwing me out, I applauded him. Congratulations! He (the referee) said that he sent me off because I applauded. Look at the images and you will see that I applauded after he threw me out.” His teammates Réver and Igor Rabello had to move him to the locker room.
