McLaren could reclaim Alonso and Hamilton’s car livery from 2007

For many, it is one of the most beautiful decorations ever seen in a F1. And now, it may be back. We define the decoration of the myth McLaren MP4-22 of the year 2007. This weekend, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri can drive their respective MCL60s painted in a mythical color like silver.

We have to see if this is a specific decision for their home Grand Prix, a few kilometers from their headquarters, or if they decide to use this livery in other races.

In his best moment of the year after a step forward

In addition to coinciding with their local GP, this decoration may come at the best moment of the course for those from Woking. After a slow start, McLaren made some major upgrades to Norris’ car which worked perfectly, allowing Lando to finish 4th in Austria after penalties in the last race. At Silverstone they can fight for the podium again with the iconic colors, as before.
