This medal does not provide a place for the Paralympic Games, as this test is not part of the competition program.

Judith Tortosa’s bronze medal was in the ‘Frame Running’ category, which consists of running with the help of a three-wheeled structure where the athlete leans on a saddle and a body support to push himself against the frame with his feet and direct it with his hands or arms.

In the men’s long jump T11, Joan Munar Martínez, visually impaired, won the bronze medal with a jump of 6.15 meters. Chinese Di Dongdong came first with 6.38, gold, and Ye Tao, with 6.25, silver. This medal gave Munar himself an automatic place for the Paralympic Games in Paris.

In the same category, Eduardo Uceda Novas is in sixth position and Martín Parejo Maza is twelfth.

Alba García Falagán achieved fourth place in the long jump T11 for visually impaired people, staying just one centimeter behind the bronze.

Adiaratou Iglesias ran the semifinal of the 100 meters T13 for the visually impaired, easily winning his heat with 12.34 and qualifying for the final, where he chose the podium.

Lía Beel Quintana competed in the 400 meters T11 with her guide Marco Antonio Illescas, stopping the clock in 1:04.42, which was not enough to qualify for the semifinals.
