Carlos Alcaraz ended the reign of Novak Djokovic in five epic sets (1-6, 7-6 (8-6), 6-1, 3-6 and 6-4 in 4h.42′) and he is the fifth Spanish Wimbledon champion, third person after Manolo Santana and Rafael Nadal. Among the women they lifted the trophy conchita martinez (1994) and Garbine Muguruza (2017)

Novak Djokovic was left wanting to match the record of 8 crowns of Roger Federer, the Swede also made five in a row Bjorn Börg.

Only the third participation of Carlos Alcaraz, fourth grass tournament, and already has two titles. He did the Queen’s-Wimbledon double. Twelve game unbeaten run.
