Surprise in London with Willian’s return to Fulham. The Brazilian winger has not reached an agreement for the renewal of his contract and is in talks with Nottingham Forest to continue in the Premier League. However, the footballer’s situation took a 180 degree turn to end up signing for another season with the ‘cottagers’.
“The Club is delighted to confirm that Willian has reached a new deal which sees him return to Fulham,” a Fulham statement read.
William has signed for one more season with the London outfit -with an option to extend for another year- after an excellent first year in which he helped Fulham comfortably retain the category.
“I am very happy. Delighted to sign another year at Fulham. I’m happy to continue the work I did last season with all my teammates and the whole Club. I think this is a club that can do even better this season, so I’m happy to continue this incredible adventure”, commented Willian.
