After separating himself as director of scouting for Barça in June, Jose Mari Bakero took over as coach of Slavia Sofia Bulgarian and this Monday they opened a very positive victory in the league, beating Etar (0-1) at home. After several years in the sports structure of the Barça club, baker decided to undertake a new professional challenge and the debut as a coach of Slavia Sofia invites optimism.
“We worked and made a lot of changes. I’m happy with the players. We tested a new idea in the club and in the team. We were aggressive and there are many things that have improved. I’m satisfied.
