the danish Jonas Vingegaard he thoroughly enjoyed his time at Tour de Francewhere he dealt an almost fatal blow to his main rival, the Slovenian Tadej Pogacarand recounted that he ran the last part without reference to his watts because the meter was broken.
“I have not won the Tour yet, there are very difficult days ahead and the Tour is not over yet. We have to fight until Paris. I will do everything to keep this yellow jersey until Paris,” said the Jumbo cyclist, who beat the Slovenian by 1.38 minutes.
Vingegaard improved the best times given by the organization for a 22.4-kilometer time trial between Passy and Combloux, in Alpine terrain, with a second-class climb on its route.
“I’ve had a great day on the bike. Since morning I feel good, from the first pedal strokes. I wanted to go full throttle at first, to hide something on the flat, but I saw that I was releasing. so many watts until the meter broke and I decided to go upstairs”, he assured.

});
Vingegaard pointed out that they did not have the time trial marked as the place to deliver the final blow at the Tour, but as an important day.
“It was not the intention to win everything today, it was a central day, but everything was part of a great plan and today we are very good at executing it,” he commented.
