Nigerian world champion and world record holder in the 110m hurdles, tobi amusanreported on Wednesday on Instagram that was charged with violating the anti-doping rule.
“Today, the Athletic Integrity Unit charged me with an alleged rule violation for missing three tests in twelve months,” he wrote.
Tobi Amusan, 26, has promised to answer the allegations against him before the World Cup to be held from August 19 to 28 in Budapest. “I wish to contest these allegations and my case will be decided by a three-arbitrator panel. before the world championships start next month,” he said.
Amusan broke the world record for the 100m hurdles with 12.12 seconds last year at the Eugene Worlds.
