Mendy signed for Lorient after being acquitted of rape charges

The French international Benjamin Mendywho last week was acquitted in England for a second time of allegations of rape and sexual assault, will return to the game in his country, after signing for Lorient.

The Breton team announced this Wednesday in a statement it signed Mendy for the next two seasons.

The left back, born 29 years ago in the city of longjumeauin the region of Paris“came to strengthen the currency” of Lorient and will wear the number 5, highlighted by his new club.
