Almost a day after the arrival of Fiorentina from Juventus on loan, the former Barça player Arthur Melo debuted with his new team in a pre-season friendly against Catanzaro, settling in favor of the ‘viola’ by 3-0.
Arthur, who last played for Liverpool due to injuries, was ready to seize this opportunity from day one to relaunch his career. Vincenzo Italian, Fiorentina coach, gave him entry middle of the second part of a friendly against an Italian Serie C rival when the score was 2-0.
Arthur entered Rolando Mandragora and he had his first minutes acting in the double pivot in the Italiano’s 4-2-3-1.
Jonathan Ikoné and Mandragora scored in the first part while the Russian Alexander Kokorin established the final 3-0 after.
