Andres Guardado, Nabil Fékir, German Pezzella and guido rodriguez is four captains of Real Betis for next season, as announced by the Verdiblanco club this Thursday, after the squad elections held last week.
Andrés Guardado became the first captain of Betis after withdrawal of Joaquin, who gave him the bracelet in person when he replaced him in his farewell match. Nabil Fekir, now injured, goes from fourth to second captain after the departure of the portuense and the decision of Sergio Canales to leave for Rayados de Monterrey.
The two new squad captains compared to last season are Argentine world champions Germán Pezzella and Guido Rodríguez. Pezzella already served as captain in Sunday’s first game at La Cerámica against Villarreal, winning 1-2.
