Rahm deflated and lost all of his options at the Tour Championship

the norwegian Víktor Hovland took sole command of the Tour Championship this Saturday with a combined -20 and six shots ahead of Xander Schauffele, second, while Jon Rahm remains nine shots off the lead.

The 30 best golfers in these ‘playoffs’ of the FedEx Cup will meet until this Sunday at the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta (Georgia).

The American Scottie Scheffler, who came in as the overall leader, started this tournament with a -10 start. Hovland (second) started at -8, Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy (third) started at -7 and Rahm (fourth) started at -6.

Hovland entered the second round tied for command with Collin Morikawabut his round of 66 shots, four under par, allowed him to leave the American, who did not exceed three over par.

Schauffele finished second with an aggregate of -14 and after delivering a card of 68 strokes, two under par.

Morikawa and Keegan Bradley were third with a total of -13.

Rahm had a bad day and missed 71 shots in the third round, the worst of his tournament. The Augusta Masters champion has a combined -11, nine behind Hovland.
