Borja Mayoral, with a penalty, ended the drought of Getafe and himself, which dated back to last April, to give his team the first win of the season, this Monday and against Alavés.
The attacker, however, is not sure of his continuation in the Madrid team, because “until August 31 anything can happen.”
“Until the 31st, anything can happen. We know what the market is. I arrived last year with the idea of finding help from Getafe and also help the team. It’s not a good year. We’ll see what happens between now and the 31st, there’s not much left” said Borja Mayoral on DAZN, happy with the victory.
“I’m happy for the victory and for the goal and the game. We really needed the three points, we had an accident in Girona and with Barcelona we did well, and we need the victory,” said the attacker.
Mayoral had no doubts and was determined to accept the punishment despite the pressure. “With the sanctions last year, I was not successful and what characterizes me is to work and I have been working on it since the beginning; and here you can see it: goal and success”.
