French international striker Randal Kolo Muaniwho declared his intention to sign for Paris SGwas out of training with his club in Frankfurt on Wednesday morning, according to the eintracht it is a statement.
“The reason for his absence is his desire to transfer to another club before the end of the season on Friday afternoon,” explained Eintracht, who must play in the second leg of the play-offs in the Conference League (C4) on Thursday night against to Levski Sofia.
“We met the other Randal and we know his true character. Right now he is present to him and it causes this reaction, which is wrong, and which we made clear to him and his entourage”, explained the Eintracht sports director, Markus Krösche, who clarified that the striker will not line up against Sofia.
Failing to show up for training, Kolo Muani decided to take over the club. “What is clear to us is that this behavior does not influence the transfer activity of the market,” stressed Krösche, who is firm on the Frenchman, 24 years old and with a contract until the summer of 2027.
On Tuesday night, Randal Kolo Muani made clear his intention to sign for PSG, asking his club to accept the Parisian club’s offer. “It is not a secret, Paris SG made a record offer for me. A transfer to Paris is now a unique opportunity for me. I would like them to transfer me to Paris and I told my managers,” he explained to Sky Germany.
Randal Kolo Muani, who arrived in Frankfurt in the summer of 2022 out of contract from Nantes, had a great first season in Frankfurt, scoring 15 Bundesliga goals and providing 11 assists.
