Julio Urías27 year old Mexican pitcher for dodgers (MLB), was one of the many celebrities who came a few days ago to see Leo Messi at Los Angeles FC vs. Inter Miami. But none of them were arrested 11 pm after the game at BMO Stadium.
Urías was suspected of using violence against his partner, but after being arrested he posted $50,000 bail and was released by Los Angeles police, according to CBS. However, he will appear before a judge on September 27. MLB announced that it will investigate the incident and the club itself issued a statement.
“We know the Julio Urías incident. While we clarify the facts, he will not be traveling with the team in the future. We will not be making any further comments at this time.“, they wrote. Urías had already been arrested on similar charges in 2019. The league then suspended him for 20 games, but he was not legally punished.
