Marc ter Stegen (31 years old) was nominated this Wednesday afternoon by France Football as one of the ten candidates for the Yashin Trophy for the best goalkeeper last season. In 2019 he was second behind AlisonLiverpool goalkeeper, but last year he disappeared from the Top 10. His excellent 2022-23 League allowed him to regain a well-deserved place among the greats.
The German goalkeeper, in line with Barça, lowered his level in the 2021-22 season, the reason for his disappearance from the list of the best goalkeepers in Europe. Now he returns to his own merits.
Alejandro Balde (19 years), Peter Gonzalez (20) and Gavi (19) choose, for their part, the Kopa Trophy which rewards the best soccer player under 21 years of age in the world.
All three will appear in the list of 10 candidates. Peter already won the Cup in 2021 and Gaviin 2022. It may be the turn of bucket.
