Joel Esteban (Barcelona, 2005) is the latest in a long list of riders who have forged through the ranks of the Aspar Team junior team, the penultimate of which is his new Moto3 teammate, David Alonso which is the great sensation of the 2023 World Cup in its three victories in Great Britain, Catalonia, San Marino and he was in contention for the title in his rookie year.
The young driver from El Prat is runner-up in the European Talent Cup in 2022 and is currently second in the JuniorGP, 68 points behind the leader. Angel Piqueras, has also been crowned champion of the Red Bull Rookies Cup 2023, when there are three appointments left to go.

I am very happy to have their trust and to be able to have this regularity, it is important when it comes to working because I know them as if they were my second family. I will face the new year with great enthusiasm, with many challenges and many races to enjoy. After the first season in the championship, the goal is to continue to fight for the front positions and be competitive every weekend to fight for the World Cup.

Joel has joined the World Cup and we are excited because, if he doesn’t get our chance in 2022, I think he will soon leave .
