Daniel Levy owner of Tottenham Hotspur, said he would be willing to listen to offers of the club if they are the best for the team, in addition to confirming that in recent years he has rejected the offers of Middle East, Far East and America.
Levy, who owns 29.88% of Enic, the company that owns 87% of Tottenham, said in an interview with Bloomberg that he does not plan to leave the club at the moment, but that I am listening to proposals if they are for the sake of ‘Spurs’.
“I have no real interest in leaving Tottenham, but my duty is to consider what they can offer us, because it’s not about me, It’s about what will be best for the club.Levy said.
“We run this club as it is a public company. “If someone wants to make a serious proposal, the Tottenham board will consider it, and if we believe it is the best for the club, we will be open to anything,” added the president.
According to English media, Levy will value Tottenham at around 4,000 million pounds (4.6 billion euros)an amount more than what was sold for Chelseabut below what Qatar and Ineos offered for Manchester United.
Levy has already met with Nasser Al-Khelaifi, president of paris saint germain, at the beginning of the year to explore a possible purchase of a part of Tottenham, but the negotiations did not go further.
