Eden Hazard informed the football official. He did this through a short Instagram post where he thanked the fans and the club he played for. The Belgian left Real Madrid in June and had offers to continue, but finally decided, as expected, to retire from football
This is Eden Hazard’s letter
“You must listen to yourself and say enough at the right moment. After 16 years and more than 700 games played, I decided to end my career as a professional footballer. I was able to fulfill my dream, I played and had fun on many football fields. everyone.
During my career, I have been fortunate to meet great managers, coaches and teammates. Thank you all for these great moments, I will miss you all. I also want to thank the clubs I played for: LOSC, Chelsea and Real Madrid; And thanks to RBFA for my Belgian team.
A special thanks to my family, my friends, my mentors and the people who have been close to me through the good times and the bad.
Finally, many thanks to you, my fans, who have followed me all these years and for your encouragement wherever I have played.
Now is the time to enjoy my loved ones and have new experiences. See you off the field, friends.”
