All footballers have an expiration date and Cristiano Ronaldo is no exception. So now the Mirror say the Portuguese has changed his plans and will give himself a year to hang up his boots.
The Portuguese, now at Al-Nassr, plans to continue playing football until 2027. He does not have one of his plans to return to Europe, but instead he wants the Saudi team to give him an offer to renew for another four seasons to achieve his goal.
The main reason behind reaching that person is to be able to play another one world, which would make him second all-time, alongside Rafa Márquez, with five contested. Initially, it was expected that the race would not start much after Euro 2024but it has changed.
It is not difficult for Ronaldo to continue playing until he is 41 years old if he can maintain his form. This season he is the most decisive footballer in Saudi Arabia and has already scored 10 goals and 5 assists in just eight games, so it is logical to think that Al-Nassr is ready to renew his contract.
