The team Kern Pharma It closes its squad for the 2024 season with a total of twenty-four cyclists after the loss of six riders and the inclusion of eight, four of them youngsters from subsidiaries such as Hugo Aznar, Unai Aznar, Jorge Gutiérrez and Diego Uriarte.
Four men also joined the pharmaceutical team who already had professional platoon experience such as Marc Brustenga (LIDL-Trek), Miguel Angel Fernandez (Burgos BH), First Iribar (Euskaltel-Euskadi) and Antonio Jesus Soto (Euskaltel-Euskadi).
Regarding the casualties, six riders informed the team: Roger Adrià, Igor Arrieta and Raúl Garcíawhich will make the step up to the World Tour category; Hector Carretero, who will embark on a new path as sports director; the Italian Giovanni Carboni, and Vojtech Repawho ended his professional career in May.
