The former Russian footballer Alexei Bugaevwho disputed the Euro 2004was arrested today for attempting to sell nearly half a kilo of methylephedrine, a doping substance.
Bugaevwho will remain in preventive detention until December 31 by decision of a court in the southern city of Krasnodar, could be sentenced to 20 years in prison.
