Victor Martins from Leclerc led the way

Frenchman Victor Martins (Art Grand Prix) took the lead in Formula 3 after winning this Sunday the long race of that championship held at the Montmeló circuit, outside Barcelona, ​​home of the Spanish Formula One Grand Prix; where Spaniard David Vidales (Campos Racing) -who scored a quiz on Saturday- had to step down.

Martins won ahead of Czech Roman Stanek (Trident) and Frenchman Isack Hadjar (Trident), who finished the race in second and third position, respectively. Vidales, a native of León and just 20, played in Monegasque Arthur Leclerc (Prema Racing) -brother of Charles Leclerc (Ferrari), leader of the F1 World Championship- and had to leave a proof that another Spaniard, his companion Josep María Martí, finished twenty -one; and the American-Ecuadorian Juan Manuel Correa (Art Grand Prix), tenth.

Martins leads the championship with 62 pointssix over Stanek and twelve ahead of American Jak Crawford (Prema Racing), second on Saturday and sixth this Sunday, third overall.

Leclerc, who has risen as leader, will lie in fifth -with 43 points- after finishing the fourteenth this Sunday.

The next two tests of the Formula 3 championship will be played on the first weekend of July at Silverstone (England), in conjunction with the British F1 Grand Prix.
