Dani Juncadella has announced that in 2024 he will be the official factory driver for the Corvette Racing team. At the wheel of the new Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R, the Catalan driver will compete in the entire program of the FIA ​​​​World Endurance Championship and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Endurance Championship.

“I witnessed what it means to be a Corvette driver in the United States. They have an amazing fan base. It is very exciting to be a part of the Corvette Racing team because of the great legacy the team has created in the United States. Being a factory Corvette driver makes me feel proud and special,” explained Dani.

With Mercedes AMG, the Barcelona driver has won prestigious races such as the Rolex 24h of Daytona and Petit Le Mans GTD PRO in 2023; the 24h of Spa, the 8h of Indianapolis and the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup championship in 2022, the European F3 championship in 2012 and the Macau Grand Prix in 20211.

Furthermore, in the last two seasons, Juncadella has been on the podium in almost every race he has competed for the star team. In 2024, the Spanish driver wants to continue showing all his competitiveness and achieving success with the Corvette Racing team in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar endurance championship and the FIA ​​​​World Endurance Championship.

Juncadella will compete as a factory driver in the Rolex 24h of Daytona, the 12h of Sebring and Petit Le Mans. In addition, he will drive the Z06 GT3.R to a second championship, as he will also join TF Sport throughout the season in the GTE Am category of the FIA ​​​​World Endurance Championship, which includes the 24h of Le Mans, a race. where Juncadella has always wanted to join but has yet to debut.

“I have never competed at Le Mans. It’s a career I’ve followed a lot and it’s always fascinated me. This year the Corvette team has been very competitive, which has proven to me once again how good their team is. It’s very exciting to experience it from afar and I really want to experience it in 2024. It’s a very exciting season ahead,” Dani concluded.
