The 2025 Tour de France will start in Lillethe most important city in northern France, which will host the first stages of the 112th edition, the organizers indicated this Tuesday.
After three years of starting outside the borders of France, the Tour will once again give the starting signal to the country that gives its name to the race and the north will once again host the “Large Apartment” for the first time since Dunkirk in 2001.
The organizers have indicated that they will provide more details about the start of the 2025 edition in a press conference in Lille on the 30th.
But the local press revealed that the north of France, on the border with Belgium, will be the scene of the first four episodes, before heading west to enter. Normandy and Brittany.
The last time the Tour started in France was in 2021 when it launched from the Breton port town of Brestafter Copenhagen gave up doing so due to the pandemic.
