A violent brawl between members of up to four ultra groups associated with different football teams took place this Saturday afternoon at a leisure venue in Esperanza de Triana street, of Seville. The confrontation between these madmen caused fear among residents and passers-by in the area, requiring the intervention of several members of the National Police and 061.
According to police sources, the conflict broke out during the birthday celebration of a member of the ultra faction of the Legsincluding radicals from Boixos Nois (Barcelona) and of Atlético Front (Atletico de Madrid)where the fans of Beer (Seville FC). The result of the fight were four detainees and one seriously injured, who was evacuated to the Virgen del Rocío hospital. Three of those arrested were part of a group celebrating a birthday and were accused of rioting and damage, and were taken to police stations. The fourth detainee, a ‘Biri’ aged around 50, was seriously injured and faces charges of rioting.
According to Emergencies 112, the fight took place at 5:50 pm, and several phone calls alerted them to the presence of hooded men, with chairs flying during the fight. Dozens of members of the National Police and 061 were mobilized to control the situation.
