Hugo Bueno has his roots in Wolverhampton

Spanish Hugo Bueno has renewed with Wolverhampton Wanderers until 2028. International with Spain under 21, He made his Wolves first team debut last season and has been ever since He played 31 games alternating ownership and left side replacement.

Bueno’s contract is renewed for five yearswith the option of an additional one.

Wolves sporting director Matt Hobbs, He assured that Hugo is one of the club’s “great success stories”. “We brought him from Spanish grassroots football when he was 16 and now that he is 21 he is a regular player in the Premier League,” added Hobbs.


Well He signed for Wolves in 2019 from Galician side Areosa and he enjoyed his first testimonial moment in the Premier League in October 2022 against Nottingham Forest until a few days later he played 90 minutes against Crystal Palace, in his first start in the English championship.
