Improvement for Tiger Woods and leadership for Scheffler and Spieth in the Bahamas

The Americans Scottie Scheffler and Jordan Spiethwith -9 in total, took the reins of Hero World Challenge of Albany (Bahamas)a contest where Tiger Woodsin his first appearance since the Augusta Masters, improved in the second round and now has a +1 aggregate.

Scheffler was the best on Friday with a -6 in the second round with eight birdies and two bogeys, while Spieth also shined with a -5 with five birdies without any bogeys.

Your countryman Brian HarmanThursday’s co-leader, trails closely at -8 overall (-3 on Friday), while fellow American Tony Finau, the other golfer in the lead after the first round, remains at -6 which accumulates (-1 on the second day ).

For his part, Tiger Woods, who started with a +3 on Thursday, raised the level this Friday with -2 (five birdies and three bogeys) leaving him at +1 before starting the weekend.

Tiger, 47 years old and winner of 15 majors in his career, has played only two tournaments this year: the Masters and the Genesis Invitational

The American golfer stressed upon his arrival at the Bahamas tournament that he remains convinced that he can win tournaments and that is why he has decided to continue playing.

Tiger underwent surgery in April for an ankle injury, where he has been experiencing discomfort since suffering a serious road accident in 2021.
