The ball boy from Hazard’s kick is a millionaire now

Date:

Eden Hazard A decade ago, he was involved in an unfortunate incident with a ball boy in a Swansea-Chelsea Cup match when the boy tried to protect a ball for the locals with the Belgian insisting not to waste time and give it to him. Upset, the former Madrid player kicked him and the image sparked a flurry of criticism of the footballer, which ended with an apology.

If that is so. That boy, Charlie Morgan, who was 17 years old at the time, became a millionaire. In 2016, three years after the Hazard incident, he founded his own company with a school friend: the drink brand Au Vodka. In 2019, the two entrepreneurs sold more than 10,000 bottles of one of their black grape vodkas in one month. At the beginning of this year (2023), the young man’s wealth is estimated to be around 40 million pounds (about 45 million euros) after the success of his business.

Morgan’s is one of the fastest growing companies in Britain. The value of the company is currently estimated at around £150 million. This owes in part to Morgan’s collaboration with some great figures such as Ronaldinho, Jake Paul and Floyd Mayweather, who promoted his products.
