He Technical Committee of Referees Spanish rulers Luis Medina Cantalejo issued a statement on Tuesday in which it expressed solidarity with the attacked Turkish referee Halil Umut in addition to showing his most complete denial of what had happened.

Attacks last season in Spanish football
In Spanish football there were several phases of attack last season, never in professional football. One of them was at the end of the Second B-Second Federation match between Terrassa FC and the CF Badalona Future of Group III. As the referee of the meeting relates to the annex to the minutes, Pablo Monterrubio towers, The referee trio suffered these insults when entering their vehicle: “You are sons of bitches, you are shit, you are scoundles, now you have to show your face because we are going to kill you.” Furthermore, the referee recounted how they managed to leave the stadium between kicks, punches and spitting: “We fear for our physical integrity because of the violence and attitude that the aggressors use against us… when we started the car all the aggressors are They attacked the car and started hitting and kicking very violently all over the car They even tried to open the car through the passenger door and the trunk door…”
Another thing happened in the Second B – Second Federation match between CD Col. Diocesan and the Segovian Gymnastics CF directed by Francisco Saez Vital, who reported in the minutes the following: “At the end of the match, once inside the locker room, an unknown person kicked the door of the referee locker room, broke the lock of locker room…” . And the beating received by the referee adds up Antonio Pozo after a match played in Ceuta in an RFEF Third Division match.
