The largest amount in commissions to agents was paid by English clubs, with more than $280 million, followed by the Saudis, with $86 million (78 million euros), although they did not invest in transfer agents. club.

The Republic of Korea has the highest percentage of transfers made with a club agent transferring the player, with 31.6%.

The number of international transfers made with an agent acting on the player’s behalf also reached a record number in 2023, with a total of 3,353 transfers. This is equivalent to 15.4% of all operations and represents an increase of 8.4% compared to 2022.

Women’s clubs reach a million dollars

For the first time, professional women’s soccer clubs spent more than $1 million in fees for club agent services, with a total cost of less than $1.4 million, and club agents are present in record numbers of 125 transfers, representing an increase of more than 20% compared to 2022.
