Mourinho has to pay this amount for his accusations against referees

The Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho and his club, the Romehas reached an agreement with the Prosecutor’s Office of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) and will each pay a fine of 20,000 euros after the coach’s accusations against the referees of the match his team played against Sassuolo.

Following the agreement between the parties, Mourinho was fined 20,000 euros, an amount to be delivered to the Italian Association against Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma (AIL), as well as the amount to be contributed by Roma.

This is not Mourinho’s first controversy with referees in Italy as he has openly clashed with several referees over his level and decisions –comments that have already earned him several penalty games-, although it is the first to do so before a confrontation begins.

Marcenaro is one of the youngest referees in Europe at the age of 31, where he has accumulated experience in 20 Serie A matches.
