The Navarrese Charlotte Ciganda debuted with success in Bank of Hope Match Play, played in Las Vegas (USA). and qualified for the LPGA Tour, by beating Angel Yin, a plethora of players, by two holes.
The match reached the 18th hole where the Ulzama golfer was judged after posting six birdies and a single bogey for his rival’s five birdies (and more errors).
With this victory, Carlota was placed as the leader of group 10 because in the other game Japanese Ayaka Furue and French Pauline Roussin Bouchard tied.
Ciganda will face Brochard this Thursday, while Furue will face Yin. Victory for the Spaniards will make way for knockout rounds but we will have to wait for the third game on Friday against Furue.
