Players who could leave Real Madrid in 2024

Date:

Real Madrid will start 2024 with a number of squad issues to resolve, both in terms of arrivals and departures. And leave the players who can join the white club in 2024, up to six players can leave the white club. Their contract ends in June 2024.

1

Modric

The 38-year-old Croatian could be living out his final season at Real Madrid. Last summer he renewed for one season in negotiations that were not easy. The footballer looks strong enough to continue, but we have to see the position of Real Madrid in this case. What seems clear is that if he offers a renewal it will be for one season.

The German, who will turn 34 on January 4, is out of contract in June 2024. He looks closer to continuing another season at Real Madrid. The white club will be happy with that possibility and Ancelotti’s renewal helps a lot for Kroos to continue with the white club.

Nacho

The youth player who will be 34 on January 18, 2024 will be at Real Madrid for the rest of his life. Last summer he was close to leaving and we will have to see what happens this year. He wants to feel that he is important to the team and that the club will give him the freedom to decide his future.

Lucas Vazquez

Lucas Vazquez

The 32-year-old is Carlo Ancelotti’s wild card. The Galician is Carvajal’s replacement at right back, but Real Madrid are looking for a right back in the market for next year. That may cast doubt on Lucas Vázquez who with his last renewal is about to leave.

Kepa put all his effort into Real Madrid's training session this Monday at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin

Kepa

The 29-year-old goalkeeper arrived at Real Madrid this past summer after Courtois’ injury. He is on loan from Chelsea until June 30, 2024 and his idea is to continue, but everything is in the hands of Real Madrid, if they decide to sign the Basque goalkeeper after the loan.

6

Joselu

The 33-year-old forward arrived on loan from the Spaniard last summer. Joselu, who was trained at the Real Madrid youth academy, looks set to remain at the white club, although for that to happen, Real Madrid will have to pay the purchase option included in the transfer agreement.
