Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado: a Dutch star with Latin genes will shine in Benidorm

The Dutch of Dominican origin Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado will participate next Sunday, January 21 at UCI Cyclocross World Cup – Benidorm Costa Blanca. Current leader of the World Cup himself, the ‘crack’ of the team Alpecin-Deceuninck will experience a decisive test to close his first overall victory in this competition after being second in 2020 and 2021. World and European champion in 2020, he experienced an unfortunate campaign in 2022-23, which led to him not participating in the inaugural edition of UCI Cyclocross World Cup – Benidorm Costa Blanca held in January last year. In the 2024 edition of the UCI Cyclocross World Cup – Benidorm Costa Blanca there will be three types of tickets for adults: the General, which costs €18 until January 6; the VIP, with food, drinks and a great location with views of the finish line; and Super VIP, which includes gourmet products and circuit-side parking. Children between 7 and 14 years of age will pay admission for the VIP and Super VIP areas, while for all children under 14 who wish to go to the General area and children up to 7 years of age who want to enter places with adults. VIP and Super VIP, a Children’s ticket for only €2 is available, the proceeds of which will be donated in full to Aspanion and Centro Doble Amor.

The first edition of the exam ended with achievements for Fem van Empel and Mathieu Van der Poel in the women’s and men’s Elite races, respectively.
