Mallorca retained the group’s co-leadership after clearly beating a Constancia who held up well in the first half and even put the Vermillions in trouble at various stages of the game. The Inca team, which did not lose face in the game, surrendered in the second half to the effectiveness of the rival.
In the first half the visitors came out strong and goalkeeper Marc Monedero intervened on several occasions. However, as the minutes went by, Mallorca took the lead, clearly reaching the rival area, but repeatedly fell to a very well-armed defense of the Inca team. Raúl Alarcón, Bruno Calcagno, Áxel Bejarano and Woiski all tried, but goalkeeper Felquin was magnificent between the sticks to prevent the goal. In this way, without incidents on the scoreboard, the break was reached.
Woiski double
After the restart, things couldn’t have started better for the home team. Alexander Woiski, on a free kick, nailed the ball to the left side of Felquin’s goal, opening the scoring and making it 1-0.
Amidst the visitor’s confusion after conceding the goal, the second soon came and again thanks to Woiski’s success. This time he dribbled past two center-backs and with a powerful shot he put the ball into the net, rendering Felquin’s stretch useless.
The 2-0 left Constancia completely shaken, and from then on they dedicated themselves to seeing them come. Woiski himself had a third shortly after, but his shot from an angle on the left in the 72nd minute was too high.
The one who did not fail, at the end of the match, was Áxel Bejarano, who left with the last point.
