Top 10 highest paid cyclists: only one Spaniard

The Slovenian Tadej Pogacar (UAE Emirates, is the highest paid cyclist in the peloton with an annual salary of 6 million euros, surpassing his compatriot in income Primoz Roglic and danish Jonas Vingegaardwhile the Spaniard with the highest income is Carlos Rodríguez, with 2.5 million.

According to a study by Gazzetta dello Sport, Pogacar occupies the top of the list of profits, followed by Roglicwho on the move from Jumbo-Visma to Bora-Hansgrohe will have a salary of 4.5 million euros per year.

Among the greats on the road, Jonas Vingegaardwinner of the last two Tours de France, enters as leader of the Visma-Lease of 4 million euros per season.

The world road champion, Mathieu van der Poeloccupies third place in La Gazzetta’s list with 4 million euros a year, while its rival Wout van Aert earning around 3.5 million euros.

Another of the stars in the cycling sky, Remco Evenepoelis in sixth place with an estimated €2.8 million per season, ahead of Tom Pidcock and Adam Yateswhose income is estimated at 2.7 million euros per year.

The list is completed by two more runners, both from Ineos: Egan Bernal and Carlos Rodríguez (2.5 million euros).

Salary estimates refer to amounts paid by teams for each season, without counting additional revenues from sponsorship and participation.
